Check out new products for working outside and the just launched options for bringing the outdoors vibes into the office.

While bringing nature inside is not necessarily a new theme for the corporate workplace, there’s more emphasis on it now than ever before. Live plants, nature-inspired forms, and direct views of greenery outside are shown to reduce stress and improve indoor air quality. We saw many solutions, including outdoor sets that inspired us!

Pavilion – Tides

Inspired by the beauty of the ocean’s movement, the curvilinear lines and shapes of the chair convey the fluidity of the tides. The curved elements of the chair are spaced evenly and repeatedly throughout the piece evoking motion. Narrow extrusions closely aligned and gently bending to support the human form exude ergonomic comfort.

Extremis  – AMAi

AMAi is an adjustable system that you can tailor to the needs of any gathering, whether indoors or outdoors, for work or play, making each experience valuable and easy-going. Thanks to an innovative design, it only takes one person to change the table height from standing to sitting and vice versa!

OFS – LeanTo

Nooks, alcoves, corridors, and stairs often present an escape and that’s exactly what LeanTo is designed to achieve. Outfitted to feel like it was built into your space, LeanTo solves the need to take back our own attention or give full attention to others.

Kettal – Pavilion O

I have been a long-time fan of Kettal’s outdoor pavilions, and now they’ve introduced an indoor version, Pavilion O, that provides that same level of customization, along with a few new thoughtful considerations around lighting and mechanical systems. These pavilions really bring the outdoors into the workplace!

Allsteel – Constellation Table by Corral

This modular table makes collaborating feel connected and safe – encouraging behavior through form by rethinking its function. It’s available in indoor and outdoor versions.

Arper – Kata

Lightweight in form and environmental footprint, Kata is designed with circular sustainability at its core. Arper’s first solid wood lounge chair, Kata takes inspiration from artisan-made wood and woven straw chairs and reimagines the near universal typology using contemporary, sustainable solutions in an expression that’s both graphic and warm.

Davis – Ariel Steel

Featuring the same unique silhouette as its complementary indoor seating line, the Ariel Steel Collection includes a chair, counter-height and bar-height stool, all constructed specifically for outdoor spaces. The table / bench and planters are a preview of what’s to come for NeoCon 2022. Start getting excited!

Mohawk – Data Tide

It wasn’t just furniture supporting this trend! Available in eight colorways, Mohawk’s Data Tide’s 12”x36” modular carpet planks feature gradations that flow from light to dark in order to mimic transitioning waters. The collection’s color tones also reference back to estuaries, helping to infuse nature’s beauty throughout any space. Can be nicely paired with LVT too!

TUUCI – Solanox Cabana with Automated Louvered Roof

The Solanox Cabana features durable, aluminum louvers that automatically adjust for wind and rain to provide optimum shelter while creating a luxurious, open-air room with an abundance of comfort and outdoor accessibility. The louvers are also operable via remote control.

Janus et Cie – Boxwood

Boxwood is made of “Generation Next” weather-resistant fiber, which provides high-performance wear. It features a beautiful open weave that shows off the craftsmanship of the product.

Steelcase – Hopper Collection by Extremis

The Hopper Collection of benches, tables, and shades fit any location. Because of its two pass through zones, you can easily slide in from the sides. Tired of the view, and having a backrest sounds good? Turn around and sit facing the other way, the thick tabletop with its slanted edge will provide you with some support.
